What Happens During Our HVAC Tune-Ups?

With your ChampionCare membership, our team will perform a comprehensive HVAC tune-up, evaluating every aspect of your system to ensure optimal performance. During your HVAC maintenance visit, we’ll:

  • Adjust airflow for proper temperature rise
  • Adjust gas pressure as necessary
  • Inspect and flush out condenser coils on every visit
  • Inspect and test safety controls
  • Inspect and tighten loose electrical connections
  • Inspect blower and components and clean and/or adjust as necessary
  • Inspect heat anticipator settings
  • Inspect heat exchanger and burners (vacuum and/or adjust as necessary)
  • Inspect inside cooling coil if applicable
  • Inspect pilot operation and adjust as necessary
  • Inspect primary and secondary drains
  • Inspect thermostat operation
  • Lubricate all moving parts (where applicable)
  • Monitor AC operating pressures for proper refrigerant charge and add up to 1 lb of Freon per visit
  • Monitor air conditioning and heating cycles
  • Monitor flue draft for safe operation
  • Monitor voltage and amperage draw on all motors
  • And other needed seasonal adjustments
